You ask someone closer to get her attention but like a wave, the crowd crashes in between you and Samantha.
At this point, you just need something to throw at her. Something light that will hit her in the head without hurting her.

Email Open Rates Are Not What They Used to Be?
I remember back in the early 2000s I was able to send one email and make a ton of sales, book an ample amount of appointments, or even just get a slew of opens.
Over time, and I’m sure you know this to be true, more and more marketers pushed their way into the email marketing game. Before we knew it, in just a few short years, these ‘marketers’ have bombarded the business scene and our inboxes like the plague.
As a result… ‘pitch’ overload is what contaminates almost every email inbox today.

The marketer was a ‘fill-in’ for a past representative who just couldn’t get me to open any of his emails. Well, this ‘new guy’ obviously thought this thing through and accomplished his goal.
- are you interested in [yourservice]? This come comes at ‘cha from a point-blank approach. You are simply asking a straightforward question (no thrills or tricks)… and it works like a charm.
- What were you doing yesterday at 2? With all of the distractions the normal human being goes through in a typical day, this one reframes their current state, gets them to stop, and wonder… what’s inside…
- Regarding, [Person’s name]… This headline can be used when emailing a story. Whether it’s a testimonial or a story about someone who unexpectedly benefitted from your service, the subject line stands out and gets them to click.
- What are you doing tomorrow at 5? This subject line can be used to announce an upcoming promotion or a possible meeting. Like #3, it gets them out of the ‘thinking’ frame of mind so they can hone in on your email alone.
